Absolute Superman #9 continues to impress. This series has been stellar so far, there is not a single issue that I haven't liked so far. This Superman story is exciting, new and really does keep us guessing, but it also has that sense of familiarity, which for me is the perfect balance.

Action Comics #1089 really showed the scale of the threat that Captain Comet poses for Clark and with him knowing Clark' secret, Clark has his hands tied. After seeing who Captain Comet is sharing information with at the end of this issue, we just know that things are about to get rather interesting for Clark.

Whilst Action Comics #1091 brings this part of Superboys' story to an end, I am really looking forward to seeing what's next in store for him.

Action Comics #1094 is such a great issue! Superboy's mission really brought him into himself, considering he is still so young here he has some incredibly difficult decisions to make and seeing his workings out and tactics was just a joy to read! We also get to see a lot of his compassion and respect here in this issue and I'd go as far as to say that this issue showcases EVERYTHING I adore about this character, it's safe to say that writer Mark Waid, just gets it.

Justice League Unlimited #3 continues to impress as story arc. It features high paced action with just the right amount of mystery and I feel that Mark Waid is really onto something with this series so far. I'm really enjoying it and look forward to seeing what comes of it and the longer term affects.

Yet again, Justice League Unlimited #4 is another excellent issue. Writer, Mark Waid continues to expertly write a huge roster of characters whilst allowing every single member to shine and honestly, I cannot wait to pick up the next issue.

Whilst things start to go from chaos to calm in Justice League Unlimited #11 as the team somehow manage to say the day, we know as readers what its leading towards and it can only go downhill from here.

Justice League Unlimited #13 is one hell of an issue full of imagination and adventure! It's clear that Mr Terrific and his team have more trials to face along the way during their mission and if their losses and this issue is anything to go by, it's going to be pure CHAOS!

Justice League Unlimited #14 is unpredictable and exciting and honestly Im loving this side mission so far and loving getting to know these versions of the characters so far and the chaos isn't over just yet!

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 #2 will keep the reader entertained throughout with a great Kong battle and a clash of DC characters but doesnt pay out in terms of advancement until the very end.

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 is back with issue #5 starring familiar faces who havent graced the Monsterverse in years and continuing the mega-Man of Steel escapades from the previous one guess he was too big for just one issue. This issue manages to maintain the momentum that was left behind more than a month ago.

Secret Six #2 so far is absolutely crazy and I am really enjoying the unusual dynamic between these characters. I'm looking forward to seeing how it pans out, because so far.. they don't stand a chance!

The art is simply "on point and perfectly sells the story's emotional weight. This issue could have easily just played to Nia's storyline, but Nicole Maines continues to showcase her talent for assemble casts and her ability to exploit the character's strengths and weaknesses. We only have one more issue left, and it's sure to be exciting, but I'm also hoping some variation of this team continues in a more ongoing fashion.

Whist Secret Six #6 sees the end of this series, the story is set to continue in the pages of 'Superman Unlimited' and 'Justice League Unlimited'. I have loved this entire series and what I have loved the most is getting to know heroes that I wouldn't normally have gotten to read. Nicole Maines is a talent to be reckoned with and I cannot wait to see what she does next at DC.

In the midst of the battle in Superman #25, something changes in one of the characters, I wont spoil what, but I have to say I am disappointed it got cut short. But with that said this was an incredible milestone issue that is not to be missed by any Superman fan!

Superman Unlimited #2 continue the story perfectly, giving us just the right amount of information we know at any one time. So far I am really enjoying this series and it is totally fresh and a unique take on Superman. If the final page is anything to go by the next issue is going to be really fun!

The use of "Superman and the Mole Men plot elevated my enjoyment of Superman Unlimited #7 a great deal. That being said, given the epically high major stakes playing out in the majority of DC comics at the moment, it was also just nice to have a fun little adventure with a satisfying ending.
