I would give this 4.5/5 stars for giving a more realistic sense to the comic book world as well as entertaining the reader with history.

Harley's Little Black Book #3 |

Overall, I would give this an "A," for taking chances and still presenting the Harley we have come to know and love. I will continue shell out cash for this series, and whatever Harley Quinn sub-plot that DC wants to throw at me.

Over The Garden Wall #1 |
May 01, 2016
show

Readers will relate with Greg and his adventurous side as well as his personality. Children will relate with Greg's "play pretend" style, while adults can learn from his willingness to explore and learn, and his ability to find simple solutions to complex problems. Readers can learn from Anna as well. Anna learns way to practice self-control, such as not breaking rules even though she is unsupervised (a nod to teaching kids to still do the right thing, even when no one is watching, perhaps?)

The two plots that are included in the story are both intriguing, but I believe that they could flow better together. I hope that in later issues, which I will be definitely reading, that the author brings together the separate plots better.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Pink #1 |

Besides the predictably and continuity issues, I am still very interested in continuing this comic. It is interesting for someone to tackle a new story that has never been explored past a "Dear John" letter (a reference to the show for you fans out there), and I want to see how long the Pink Ranger will be on her own.

Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death #4 |

Overall the series is very good. The authors succeed in humanizing Poison Ivy, and making the reader empathize with her. By bringing children just like her in the world, Ivy now has beings like herself to identify with, and can feel less alone in the world.

It seems 90's nostalgia is still a strong within the pop-culture, and Mancini and Goldman have delivered a Powerpuff tale true to the original Cartoon Network series.
