I can easily say this is volume of Future Foundation is the best Fantastic Four comic I have read. It has so many great little character moments in such a large cast with humor that actually makes me laugh out loud. But most importantly, this comic is just pure fun. I cannot recommend this series enough.

The cover suggests that it's an Infinity tie in, but the only connection is Kaldera's master being Thanos; who requests Sam's head. This the strongest issue of the current Nova run, and I will continue to read for a long while if it continues this trend. I'm now even more excited for the upcoming New Warriors.

Patrick Gleason's comic is such a smooth transition from Batman and Robin you probably won't notice that he's writing it. This book is certainly welcome after the loss of the previous volume. The first issue hasn't hit the quality that the older comic began with, but it's not far off.

Sevara is worth picking up if you are a fan of the sword and sorcery genre. It's world-building and phenomenal artwork outweigh the sexualization of the protagonists and excessive amount of dense mythology and characters . The cover of the practically naked women could be a turn off for some, but it does give the wrong impression of the comic.

Michael Allred's art is so impressive, it almost completely eclipses Slott's script. His pop art style is reminiscent of the comics of old, and breathes life into the cosmic realm. Every creature and element of the background is so unique. There's nothing singularly that pops out, but rather an eye-catching blend of a piece for each panel. He gives the character's more expression and depth than the script allows for. Allred's style lends itself well for Slott's lighthearted script, and adds an extra layer of cuteness to it.

This issue is all about understanding the Scarecrow. If you want to discover the character or want a retread, it's worth checking out. Peter Tomasi and Szymon Kudranski make a solid team on this issue. While nothing really jumps out, its still a good issue.

On the other hand, Asrar's art suffers from a large amount ofinconsistency. It seems rather evident that his work was rushed. Almost every page suffers from a character looking awkward. He appears to have a lot of difficulty drawing faces. The character's emotions are clear but the level of detail varies from page to page.

David Marquez illustrations are always detailedand dynamic. The characters faces are expressive and give depth to the character's emotions. His scope of the Hydra base presents how powerful they are and how deep the criminal organization runs underneath our hero's feet. Marquez'saction sequences havea strong sense of weight to each hit, and are perfectly short as to not overtake the dramatic moments.

There are some great pieces of artwork in this mishmash of styles. The way McGuinness draws the cosmos is stunning. It's full of stars and at times has an almost wispy, giving it an ethereal quality. It's so minutely detailed you could get lost in it.

This issue is a clear disappointment of such a phenomenal run. The story is jarring and seemingly pointless and the art doesn't exactly fit the tone. The only saving graces are the creature designs and the twist at the end. This is just a small bump in the adventure of a fantastic story. It hasn't ruined my excitement for upcoming issues.

The art is problematic in its presentation of some people. Uncommonly, the characters will look great. Most portrayals of people look liked placeholder sketches that were to be fixed later.

This is definitely the weakest issue of Bendis' Uncanny X-Men run. A mess of a plot and just as messy art make it a disappointing read. This had almost no relevance to the events of Infinity. It's a needless tie-in I would recommend to avoid.
