Overall it was the continuation of the comic that’s become something of a highlight of my week. So while it wasn’t the best it’s certainly better than some comics I’ve read *cough*Birthright*cough*. With all that in mind I’m giving it a cool 7/10.

This issue left me with the feeling of wanting to read another one, which I guess is a sign of the quality, or that I’ve finally been indoctrinated into the cult of BKV. Either way it’s an 8 from me, and stern suggestion that if you aren’t reading this comic yet, you’re doing yourself a great disservice.

This issue took the foot off the pedal. Literally. While it added a lot to the story, the tension and moments that were in the other issues just were missing in this issue. It wasn’t a terrible issue, it just didn’t strike the same cord as the others, and that’s why I’m giving it a 7 out of 10.

Overall this is a great issue. Thankfully, it didn't take long for the creative team to break their stride, it makes me keen to see what's in store next.

Seeing all these stars starting to align is a great sign. It’s still not there yet, but it’s getting damned close. I’m giving this one an 8/10.

Overall, I don’t think you can really judge how this comic is going to end up from this first issue. The plot and world building barely got off the ground. The art was still finding its feet. That said I want to see how the larger story plays out, but for now I’m going with a 6/10.
