Shawn Lealos Comic Reviews

The first issue introduces a lot, from Eddie’s situation and reasons for pretending to be Spawn to the trouble he is about to find himself in when both a mass murderer known as Mr. Black and a supernatural being known as Venator start hunting him down. In the end, Spawn 77 is an interesting start to some new Spawn mythology, and it is even more intriguing for anyone who has followed McFarlane’s career since his original breakout.

Now, it is a hard read if you are not familiar with the I Saw Santa series, but I would highly recommend you seek those two comics out and read them because they are a great read, and the sequel looks to add to the brilliance of horrific Christmas mayhem in what seems to be becoming a tradition for Image Comics.
