Make no mistake, this is the bones of the story and the meat is yet to come.

If you've felt that the X-universe as been lacklustre in the last several years, I believe this is a perfect place to once again give those merry mutants another try.

Overall I don't see this issue as a must read or buy even if you're a fan of the series. I will admit though that subsequent issues may get better as we move along and the last page cliffhanger here does offer something to get excited by but is it too little too late?
