A very weak start to a new series. The story shows little to no promise and the art barely carries the whole mess. Aliens Defiance fails to recapture the kind of quality this franchise has become known for.

A fairly average issue in my opinion. It's lacking humor, consistent art quality, and character dynamics. All of these being a staple to the series in the past. The abstract juxtapositions between both pacing and art style make for a frustrating read.
