One of the aspects of the guide that comes across best is that all of the various artists tapped to deliver the various lessons is that while artists do need to base their illustrations on what they see, the final art need not be a slave to the photo itself. All of the artists strongly urge those who use the book to feel free to elaborate and embellish on what they see (one artist flipped a models image to get a better feel for the image, while another based a male character on the pose struck by a female model). This lesson is very important as any bit reference material is only a starting point, from which our spectacular flights of fancy begin. Where they wind up, is left up to the imagination and talent of the artist themselves.

All four of the digital comics are stand-alone stories and don't require reading any other story to understand the action. With the motion comic, other than reading to "other" chapter, it too is a stand-alone story. In all of the stories theathletesare all eating Subway sandwiches and touting the energy boost that such a healthy meal gives them. Each of the comics has thevariousathletesvisiting a Subwayrestaurantand mentioning specificsandwichesand ingredients by name (Avocadoscome up as an energysupplementquite a bit).
