A book you should check out its a story inside two covers, and its a true independent comic ( funded ) through kickstarter. The story is engaging the art is stunning, crafted by an artist with a lot of love for his job and a great deal of talent with a pencil/ink and a knowledge of photoshop, without ever going to far into the overly processed, the best compliment that can be given to this is it shows and doesnt tell, and it builds to an ending twist that wasnt signposted.

So in closing neither issue works as a hook to this series, and together you just realise that if Zenoscope just stuck to the done in one reimagining of fairytales in dark ways itd be much better than building a large narrative around it that only rewards the long time reader, or the immature that are reading for cartoon boobs and ass.

Not a place to start this pulls in elements from nearly the whole of Morrisons run. Story and art working together in harmony. Punchy and climactic from start to finish its an acceleration towards the big game, so it feels like a trailer as opposed to the movie, lets hope all the good stuff isnt just in the trailer.
