I am fascinated by this very unique tale. It is intense but somehow very delicate and fragile in a way, and to be honest, I have never quite seen anything like it. Like Luna, I am intrigued and a bit excited actually and can't wait till next month. 5.5 stars!

I think East of West is some very interesting work. The story and characters are complex, the masterful imagery helps move everything along very smoothly and I will be keeping my eye out for more.

If you haven't had a chance to take a look at Shannon Wheelers' work yet, please do. Any such compilation of his works would make for a wonderful coffee table book, especially if done in a nice hardcover edition and would most certainly inspire chuckles and knowing glances from anyone picking it up.4 of 5 stars!

So if you are interested in adult themed stories that pulls out all the stops, and if you aren't already on board, you need to get your ass to the nearest shop and get yourself # 49. While you're at it, why not grab some back issues to get yourself up to speed as well.

I wish the penciller had given himself and me a chance to read this story. This guy does incredible work and I am a serious fan of his " he does some really amazing splash and cover work. These are my favorite subjects of his, and so perhaps this is why I am so disappointed or rather shocked here.
