Ms. Marvel: Dark Web #1 accomplishes what every successful event tie-in comic does: It's a piece in a larger story with big stakes and grand action, while also staying true to the titular character and giving them meaningful character moments and development. The comic also includes what fans of Ms. Marvel love about her, while also bringing in new elements to her world. Also, while it is best read in conjunction with the rest of the Dark Web event books, it can easily stand on its own. If you are a longtime Ms. Marvel fan, or just now looking to start reading more about the character, this is an absolute must-read.

This series continues to add new elements to both the Scarlet Witch's mythos and the greater Marvel Universes's mythos', while also staying familiar and accessible to fans of Wanda from both the comics and MCU.

X-23: Deadly Regenesis #2 is a great sophmore issue is a promising series that is already proving to be a series that will have a big impact on Laura Kinney's character and history. We get a look at the history of Haymaker, an iconic villian in the making, and how he connects to Laura. The art highlights the characters expressions and new costume designs very well. While this issue mostly gives us backstory and setup, it's clear the payoff in upcoming issues will be worth the wait.
