This comic has some great elements, both in the writing and the art. Therefore, it deserves a 4/5. This could have been a little better, but not my too much. I definitely recommend that you buy this if you're a Superman fan or a completist.

The issue is actually great, both parts of it. I give it a 5/5. There's something awesome in both parts of the issue. There's great art and good writing. What else do you need? Oh, right and the cameo in the second part from

The issue gets a 5/5 for perfectly laying out just why this event means as much as House of M or the Phoenix Saga, in terms of how it will affect the heroes and everyday folks in the Marvel Universe. The best part may be that we were thrown in halfway through, rather than getting a slow prologue. From here we can imagine how it happened and just what the catalyst may have been, which adds for a more lively discussion between fans. I seriously recommend this issue to any Marvel fans.

.I give this issue a 5/5 partly because it doesn't start with the Back to the Future moment. It presents a story, rather than giving us an instant shock and relying on sensationalism. It gives us a reason to read the entire issue, which I implore you to do.

Because of the writing and the art working so well together and even on their own, this book gets another 5/5. More than just seeing the pages come to life, you can almost get a sense of how the character's are trying to cope with the future versions of themselves and the school. It's really quite fascinating.

This one gets a 4 out of 5. What holds it back is that there really should have been more X-Men in there. If you're not reading this, shame on you.

This gets a 5/5 because I think it'll be remembered for a while. Beast, both of him, may be the reason this is remembered several years (if not decades) down the road. I have faith in that.

This issue gets a 4/5 just because I don't believe it will be as well remembered as the last issue. I can only hope the next issue will be this good or better. It's still a good series, but what carries this issue is really the artwork.

While the story wasn't as good as it could have been, it was a great attempt and will surely lead us on to more issues in a bigger and better collected story. Again, the art is what carried it, but don't lose hope. There will be more excellent writing around the corner.

This is a better issue than the ones before in many aspects and as such, earns a 4/5. The only thing stopping it from being a solid 5 is that it sort of feels like it's borrowing from DC on the double-page spread.

This get's an 5/5 simply because it's a little on the nose for Halloween being just around the corner. It's a good issue and a great middle point in this three-part arc, but the fact that itisthe mid point doesn't help it. Buy this one.

The issue earns a 5, because there's nothing missing and above all, there are some added bonuses that really make it work as a story arc finale. If you're a Spider-Man fan, this issue is simply spectacular. I hear the next few will be as well, so this is certainly one to read.

I'm not entirely sure about the ending and I probably won't be until the end of #700. This issue gets a 5/5 for the emotions that it brought up, as wells the writing and artwork. I have hope for the next two issues that will conclude the 50 years of Amazing Spider-Man and lead the fans intoSuperior Spider-Man.

Because of all of that, the issue gets a 5/5. This thing is damn near perfect in every way. I'm waiting not-so patiently for #700 so I can see what comes next for Peter Parker. If you're a fan and you've been following ASM, read this. If you haven't been, shame on you. Catch up when and where you can and then read it.

This is perfection and the best possible way, with these circumstances, to send off The Amazing Spider-Man. The issue, unsurprisingly gets a 5/5. Whether you like Dan Slott or not, this is a fabulous issue in every sense of the word. Read this issue, if you want to see what happens to Spidey and carry on to Superior Spider-Man later this month. All I can say is that it needs to be read and to read Avenging Spider-Man 15.1 AFTER this one.

There's nothing in it that i feel could have been done better. The art works for the script, and the two components complement each other brilliantly. There's really not much else like it in comics these days " at least nothing that my local shop puts on the shelves. In all, it's a beautiful work of comic book art and storytelling. I urge you to pick up the book. It's something you'll want to sink your teeth into.

The issue earns a 5 out of 5 for giving us a scary setup and a nail-biting cliffhanger that I didn't see coming. The best parts are the bits that take you by surprise, scaring you as much fromthe words on the page asthe images that accompany them. It's a perfect combination between pencils, colors, and dialogue. That being said, you probably need to read this if only to find just how to steel yourself for the Gray Trader.

I have trouble finding anything wrong with this, and I looked through this with a fine-toothed comb. It's Aquaman. I wanted to find something that didn't work, but there was nothing. The ending was great and really made it seem more like a movie. I can't wait for the trade so I can read/watch the story in its entirety. Go out and buy the whole series if you haven't started on this.

This issue gets a 4/5 due to the aforementioned lull. It's better than average, based largely on where it leads, the artwork and the colors. It even shows a much earlier Aquaman in the first few pages. Go out and buy it if you want an awkward post-Turkey Day sibling moment, or if you're just a fan of Geoff Johns and good art.

I rarely expect great art like this from indie comics, but this first issue had some fantastic work. The issue overall is above-average, mostly due to the writing. Again, I loved the artwork. Get it at your local shop or wherever you get digital comics.

I have to give this issue a 5/5 for sheer excellence. The way that the writer and artists work together on this book is rarely seen in such quality. I doubt there's anything they could have done differently that would have made it better. If you're a fan of batman or any of the Batman Family, this arc is one that you really shouldn't miss.

The issue gets a 5, for all of the reasons I mentioned. If I could give it 11 stars, I would, but 5 is as high as I can go on this site. There is nothing wrong. There is nothing that I, personally, would change. Making suggestions would be akin to telling Michelangelo to go back and fix a section of the Sistine Chapel. You don't mess with perfection, because that's how you get nipples on the bat-suit.

This gets a 5/5 because of the sheer gravity of it. One look at the ending will tell you what I'm referring to, but only read just that page. The pages should also be a clue to the kind of wacky-go-nuts evil that will force you to remember this issue for quite a while.

If you can't tell by now, this book is a 5/5. It would be a 7/5 if the numbering system allowed it. Though a few bits were enough to take me aback, this really is one of the best issues of a Batman book in years. The art and writing are all incredible. They don't miss a beat, as far as epic conclusions go. The last few pages are both depressing and heart-warming at the same time. It's a very thought-provoking book, especially for the characters. Issue 17 of Batman is perfection manifested.

I love the way they seem to be going here and making Batman a more emotional hero. Following the death of his son, it's to be expected. There really are two stories going on side-by-side here. Whether you're a fan of Harper Row or not, it's still a great issue, but would have been better with a more uniform look.

As much as it seems like I'm just paying lip-service to a creative team, this issue really was great from start to finish. There were no loose ends and a few questions from the last issue were tied up in pretty bows. The character development, art and homages to classic Batman canon and past story lines do nothing but help make the issue better.

All in all, it's a really fun well-paced book that delivers one amazing cliff-hanger ending. I'm giving it a full 5 out of 5 stars " from cover to cover, there was nothing in this issue I didn't love. The writing, pencils, inks, colors, and overall design of the pages and characters were just awesome. Being that it's a one-shot intermission, as previously mentioned, there's nothing that doesn't work.

This has simply been one of the best issues I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV lead a wonderful team of consulting writers that includes Ray Fawkes, John Layman, and Tim Seeley. This Dynamic Quintet has given us a rather unforgettable first issue of what is sure to be a superb weekly series.

Every bit of the issue captures Jim Gordon, Batman, the citizens, and the city itself in the best way they could ever be. Hope has somehow hit a faster downward slide than normal, and Gotham City is feeling it down to its ancient foundations. No other creative team could have more perfectly captured the gravity of the situation in the stroke of keyboard or pencil.

Overall, this is a good issue, so it gets 4/5. It's a much better start than I expected, but it could have used a little more work. I'm just hoping the Dr. Nemesis we see on the cover shows up more in the next issue.

This ends up just being a great issue and a wonderful start to what could be the best DC Universe Presents storyline so far. This get's a straight 5/5.

I love the humor and the cartoony artwork. Given what we see in these pages, I think we'll be in for a treat in the months to come. That's if our comedy writers keep the same pace and quality of laughs. Please, go out and buy this before Wade runs you through with a katana, or Bea Arthur as he calls her.

The issue gets a 5, due in equal parts to script and artwork. It keeps the classic Deadpool feel and adds just the slightest bit of humor. For more gunshots and quips, add this to your pull list.

This earns the team a 4/5 for the issue. Is it just me or is it just that awesome?

This get's a perfect 5/5. I mean, where else are you gonna see a character beat the ectoplasm out of Abraham Lincoln or any other president for that matter? …. Give up? …. Nowhere. The great thing about these guys is that they give us things we didn't even know we wanted. Just like Vegas.

The issue gets a 4/5 for losing a little bit of steam since the awesome battle last issue. The look and structure are still pretty good, though. Check in next issue to see if apes take over the pages of Deadpool.

Yeah, this is a great issue and I enjoyed it far more than I ever thought I would. It gets a 4/5. Go out and buy this is you're a Green Lantern fan, or even for the anti-Guy Gardner jab.

This is possibly the best comic I've read in a long time, partly because each one feels like a standalone issue. I give this a 5 simply because it's fully deserved.

Just when you think you've got a handle on where the story's going, Fraction takes a hard right. That makes it interesting, and we need a lot more of that in comics these days. Keep it up, team, and I'll keep coming back to read it every month.

This is a surprisingly good issue, considering. I give it a 4/5. The writing is great and most of the art is awesome. Having whole pages that look off, however takes a bit away from the grading of the whole issue. I recommend it if you're not too weirded out by the change in armor.

Iron Man #2 gets a 5. It leaves a lot open for more issues in the story arc and the potential for more stories of its kind in the Iron Man series. Hyper Geeky definitely recommends this issue for any and all Iron Man fans.

It made me believe, even just for a second or two, that a hero like this could have existed on some parallel world or even 32 years ago. The description of the feelings felt when atomic energy causes pain then brings about nigh-invulnerable skin and the details of what Miracleman saw that day show the level of talent the creators have. It also shows that something like a comic can bring us into that kind of world.

As previously mentioned, the narration is great, but the dialogue doesn't have the same pop to it. The artwork is good overall, but shouldn't rely so heavily on the colors to connect the look. It's more than average, but it's not a comic miracle. I'm hoping for better from Miracleman in the next round.

This issue was fun to read and had as much action as drama. It gets a 4 out of 5, and it's totally worth reading as much as drooling over the pages. When has a comic from Alan Moore actually let you down?Now, go run and pick up a copy, read it and then get a digital just to be safe. Just get it into your collection.

The whole of the artwork here is eye-catching without forcing the reader to be distracted from the story, and in truth, the artwork is a complement to the writing. That gives it 4 out of 5 stars. The reason it didn't get a perfect score is simply because it's a beginning, and seaders shouldn't expect something rarified or exceedingly grand without knowing what's to come. We're all just getting started on this ride.

It's just a flat-out fun story that's a little heart-pounding at times, and it's going to get better as it goes along if his previous work is any example.

The issue as a whole gets a 4 out of 5, simply because we haven't seen the team perform as a unit just yet. Once that happens, I'm going to absolutely love reading the book every month. I'm expecting a Junior Avengers/X-Men feel once that happens. Until this arc concludes, I suggest any clones, deviants, aliens, and super humans get out of Dodge and board up the windows until the Evolutionary storm has passed.

All things considered, this issue earns 3/5, which is probably the lowest grade I've given an issue of Nightwing to date. I say buy it if you're a completist, for what's to come or for the artwork. Don't buy it for the writing.

Tom DeFalco still hasn't written a decent end to the story. It seems that all he was doing was buying time for Kyle Higgins to start the Nightwing portion of Death of the Family next month. Like Red Hood and the Outlaws this month, Nightwinghad good moments of dialogue and action scenes. Unfortunately, it just felt like the pacing dropped off at the very end before it ever reached a fulfilling conclusion. I'd love to have seen some of Bruce's detective skills rub off on Dick, but in this issue that wasn't the case.

This gets a perfect 5/5. I can't wait to see how Higgins, Barrows and the rest outdo themselves on the net issue.

It's great, but it's just lacking a little something extra to put it over the tipping point. More than likely, it's the pacing at the beginning, but either way, it's worth a read.

The story-telling and, specifically, the character interaction worked beautifully. The emotional toll was evident and we have Kyle Higgins' genius to thank for that. The art was good, but not great. It's one to remember a few years down the line, but not unforgettable. It's a nice transition from Death in the Family, though and anybody that loves Dick Grayson should read the issue.

Having said that, let's all buckle into the Nightbird and take one of our last rides together.

I loved every bit of it. It just seemed like it could have been the right ending for the series were they not planning on one final issue next month. The tone was great, and the last two pages went as far as bringing tears to my eyes. It was perfect in every sense of the word, and it's not one I use very often for anything.

It's a good issue, but not the best it could have been. I felt it was a page or two short for how it should have ended. There's no problem with the art, but I'm looking forward to more story come issue 2.

It's a great mix of writing and art that earns itself a 4 out of 5. This is primarily due to the fact that I really want to show how much better the series can get. It's a fun book with a fun Marvel Easter Egg or two which is yet another reason why you should really read it.

Leave that to the professionals, and stay close to your local comic shop so you can follow more of Frank Castle's war on crime. Trust me, you'll want to stay current.

I'm really hoping the creative team gives us a perfect issue here soon, otherwise the whole thing will really just be about average. Edmondson and Gerads are just a trigger-pull away from perfection " it's really close, but what was the old saying? Close only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades.

It's a fun issue and gets closer and closer to the grand finale of this particular story arc. I've really enjoyed every issue with this creative team and cast of characters. I can't decide if the best part is the writing, the art, or a combination of both. Personally, I'm hoping the next issue has a few more bullets and a lot of retribution against a certain walking battery. Either way, I have a feeling it's just going to manage to be better than this, somehow.

This gets a 4/5, primarily because the cover's quite misleading. Well, there's that and I know that with "Death of the Family" around the corner, it's gonna be a whole lot better.

As you might imagine, I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the issue. For this reason, it earns a 3/5. Don't get me wrong, I have high hopes for the series, especially in light of Death of the Family happening right now. Hopefully the next issue will be better.

If you can't tell by now, I loved this book. It feels like Firefly never went off the air, and we get a comic book version of a Serenity sequel. To paraphrase Captain Mal Reynolds: the creative team have done the impossible, and that makes them mighty.

I wish every adaptation or spinoff could be as seamless as this series has been. At every turn, I fall deeper into it, as I did with Firefly and then Serenity. If I manage to go down further into the black, I won't be coming back.

This gets a 5/5 for how well it's been done and how memorable it is. There are panels and whole sequences of pages that are just epic and absolutely breath-taking. I'd be quite surprised if I was able to forget this issue within five years. It's that awesome in every respect.

The issue gets a 4/5, particularly for the pacing, which is pretty fast in certain parts. Overall, it's still a nice start to the series, though I'm sure I'm not the only one hoping for Peter to return to his own skin.

This gets a 5/5, all things considered. Yes, I actually considered everything from Slott's script, to the art, coloring and even the rather shocking ending. (There's a joke in there somewhere, I just know it.) For several reasons, this will be a tough one to forget once your squishy noodle brain absorbs it all. I recommend this issue more strongly than any I have this year.

The issue has earned a 4/5 for remaining on the same par as the last few. Though there's a new arc right here, with new artists, the fate of Spider-Man (no matter who's in the driver's seat) is still at whim of Dan Slott. I feel like this will show us exactly what kind of Spider-Man Doc Ock is going to be.

This gets a 5/5 just because it will be remembered for a while. As I mentioned before, there's a point in here that turns everything on its ear and will make everyone question exactly how far this new Spider-Man will go in the direction of a hero or simply just another vigilante.

The end result is one of the best issue of Superman since the reboot. I give it 4/5, based on the writing and the art working so well together. As with all of Rocafort's work, it's consistent and portrays exactly what the writer seems to want it to. I can say there'll be a big change to the Superman status quo in this issue, but I can't reveal more than that without a pretty massive spoiler. With that being said, go pick this one up or read it online.

The graphic novel gets a 5/5, partly because it gives us samples of what would be both Clark and Lois' writing styles. That was always what helped make some of my favorite Superman stories. Really the fact that everything comes about as being sort of tied together or at least contrasted with an other piece of the story is fantastic. This, above almost anything else in DC, I urge you to go buy. If you don't have Volume 1, get that first and then buy this.

When all is said and done, this issue gets a 4/5. That's not because it isn't great, but I just get the feeling it's not as good as it necessarily could be. It's a wonderful lead and we get a bit of history with the place, which helps it, but we're a bit off from getting the whole of this five-part story. If you enjoy horror or the supernatural in any shape or form, then this is probably the comic series for you.

This earns a 5 for being better than I really thought it would be, though there is a weird cliff-hanger at the end of the issue.

With all of the writing and artwork mentioned, this gets a 4/5. What hurt it the most was the pacing that I mentioned earlier. It just doesn't feel like there's a team here yet, which is really needed on a team book. That goes double for an Avengers team. Still, it's a good issue for the most part and there are some fantastic moments, both for the characters and visually.

As series beginnings go, this one was good. It wasn't spectacular, but it was certainly better than I expected. It gets a 4 out of the possible 5 stars because it shows promise and no shortage of breaking from what's expected. The only thing I really wanted that wasn't given is a bit more knowledge of background characters. There's still time for that and enough intrigue to bring me back for the next issue in hopes of more good writing and great art.

The fun that Paul Cornell has had with the writing shines through. The artwork feels just as joyously created. This helps keep my interest in an already exhilarating book. I'm definitely looking forward rot the next issue, as you should be. Who knows, vampire Jubilee might start walking in daylight next issue with the newly killable Wolverine. Would you really want to miss that?

There doesn't seem to be anything really missing from the issue. Even the very end is amazing. Oh, and did I mention that there's a classic X-Men member joining the teaching staff? That's kind of important. For that surprise and the great writing and artwork, you should really pick this up.
