Overall this was a pretty entertaining read. Though some of the plot is a bit used, I still believe "Dark Gods" will be a series that's quite entertaining. If you enjoy blood, gore, foul language, along with a hint of nudity, than this is the comic for you.

"God Killer: Walk Among Us" may not be for every comic book reader out there as it seems to sit in a genre of it's own. But, for those of us who like to venture out into the deeper, darker, ocean of comics, it's brilliant and fresh. This is one comic I'm truly excited to see out to its entirety.

For the series' first issue, "Goners" puts a lot out on the table. It introduces you to a cast of characters without delving too deep into any specific one, which is a task almost impossible to master. While at the same time, it keeps us constantly entertained with its action and art style. "Goners" definitely has the spirit to be a great addition to the genre and certainly has the guts to keep us reading.
