This comic bugged the hell out of me. It had the potential to be really interesting, or at least to be remotely interesting, but it was a total bore. It's not until, spoiler alert, Barry regains his super speed towards the end of the issue that we see a character exhibit any type of enthusiasm. I find it very hard to be entertained by characters with nothing going on. This isn't the Flash of any world I'd like to read about, and I can't recommend anybody else read it either. I can only hope that the next issue is enthralling enough to make up for this one, but that'd be a difficult book to write.

I'm rather disappointed by this issue. I was really hoping that, as the conclusion, it would be more entertaining than the rest of the arc (especially considering there won't be another issue for three months). It wasn't. It just felt like more of the same mediocre writing and art. All of that said, I was pleasantly surprised by the final page, which showed the return of a personal favorite character of mine, one whom I can only hope will be used to revamp this comic, post Convergence.
