Well, there's nothing revolutionary here in terms of narrative, but there's something to be said for products that remain squarely in their comfort zone. The execution is top notch, there's quality art, and the overall comic has all the hallmarks of a successful pop culture series.

Die hard fans of Dr. Who may find The Eighth Doctor a compelling enough read to stick around for another issue, but everyone else will likely move on.

Will it be the next big TV show on AMC? Not likely, but if youre a fan of graphic novels like Fell or perhaps Constantine, then Limbo is a series worth checking out.
