A solid attempt at capturing a popular novel series and TV show in comic form, A Game of Thrones #18 is worth a look.

A book for Mature Audiences only, Bad Ass #1 is probably a lot of peoples' cup of tea, but I can't decide if it's mine.

Dark Horse Presents #32 is a great anthology. You should pick it up!

A GREAT creator-owned comic that I'm not sure why you haven't picked it up yet, Deadly Class #1 looks outstanding and sets up a potentially phenomenal series!

I'll write Halpin's over-exuberance off to a rookie mistake. This series has potential and this book is worth a look.

Not as gripping as issue #1, but solid in its own right.

A pretty enjoyable issue as a stand alone read, Grimm #9 is a nice addition to the growing and unique mythology of the world of Grimms and Wesens.

Grimm #10 is the first step into a bigger story that's putting the hero of the series into real trouble. I find myself being very eager to pick up issue #11 and see the next step in this journey for Burkhardt. He's usually a step or two ahead and now he's found himself up against a foe that has taken that away from him.

Possibly a niche book that fans of the NBC series, Grimm: The Warlock #2 is a less-than-smooth read for those uninitiated into the world of Grimms and Wesens.

Overall this book put me further away from actually being interested in the characters and story line of this limited series. As I said with the last issue, if you're a fan of the series of the Grimm TV show, this book may be a whole lot more fun for you than it was for me.

This was the first issue of Invincible that I've ever read; there's no way in hell I can let it be the last now. The artwork alone has me hooked and, as any good serial should, the ending of this issue has me anxious to see what follows. If you've been reading the series, I don't see how you can miss this issue.

A pretty silly issue, but silly in a good way, the book does close on a very sinister note. The universe in which these characters exist is astounding and if you've only been reading Invincible or you've not been reading any of this material at all, get out and pick these works up. They are classics!!

An awesome first issue that promises a pretty intense follow-up, Juice Squeezers #1 is absolutely worth the pick-up if you're looking for something outside the normal superhero fare.

Juice Squeezers is a cute series and the highest compliment I can pay it at this point is that it is SO very different from the rest of what's out there. Pick up a copy and read it; you'll have some fun.

I'd imagine readers of the series will love this issue as it delivers on a promise from past stories. I found it to be a quick read and felt right at home with the story. Definitely worth a look for fans.

I'm a sucker for this stuff because I have two little girls and we are all eagerly anticipating this film so I loved the issue. A clever story, lots of fun and sentiment…can't beat it.

For fans of the series, you've been waiting 9 years for something and this is it. The best thing is that we're not getting "just something" here. We are getting a great continuation of a great story by the people who created and love these characters. For casual fans, the story is written to allow you to jump in without much struggle. Pick up a copy ASAP.

The first of a 5-part introductory arc, The Fuse #1 sets up a promising series backed by two very motivated and talented creators.

Arguably leaving the reader in the PERFECT spot for a 3rd issue out of a 5 issue arc, The Victories #8 is another example of why Oeming's work is always worth a look. His take on the creation of supers is as good of a mix of mythology and sci-fi as you'll get.

"Ideas can't change things. Only power can." We see this early on in the issue and by the issues conclusion, we've seen just what power can do and get a foreboding since that we are going to see it do a LOT more in the near future. I'm slightly less happy with this issue than I was expecting to be heading in, but I'll be reading it again. This is a great issue in a line of great issues. You should all be enjoying The Victories!
