The comedy which is quite black and mean-spirited was to me quite funny but I can see why others may not see the humour in the situations portrayed in the film.If you like your comedies to be nasty and deeply cynical then 30 Minutes or Less is worth your time as it moves quite fast and there are some good chuckles to be had.

It takes a damn good comic to make me feel both guilty and silly for not being aware of its existence. Atomic Robo is one of them and now I have to get up to speed on the previous volumes. And speed is of the essence as Atomic Robo has gotten off to a flying start with this story.

Atomic Robo is a comic thats pure pulpy fun but is done with top class professionalism and obvious joy in what they do. Its so classy that itd be rude not to read it.

I have no idea where Danger Club is going to go but I do know that wherever it ends up, it's going to be one hell of an exciting time. It's possibly the most engaging read out there and that is most impressive as there are some really fantastic reads out at this time.

If youre reading this as someone whos curious about Danger Club be curious no-more and join this group of people whore reading one of the best stories in any medium. Epic, exciting and exemplary, Danger Club raises the bar in a genre that looked to be tapped out years ago.

Im now certain that Danger Club is a serious contender for best series of the year. Its been a bumper year for some great comics and thats what makes Danger Club so good. To standout so emphatically is a sure sign that this is a top tier title.

I by no means hated this film but I did feel it was far too flat considering the talent and subject matter. It had all the ingredients to be a crazy romp with a twisted sensibility but it was ordinary and for Burton and Depp that just wont do.

You dont need to read the novel to enjoy and be scared witless by Dead Space: the game but if you do, you will be seeing a more fleshed out universe of one of the best games released. A rich and deep universe, world building by people that were passionate about creating an immersive and scary world. They succeeded with some mixed results but in terms of the game and comics, they should be proud.

That said, Dead Space: Liberation is a fun read and great to look at. Fans of the game will really enjoy seeing more of the universe and it is a good gateway to one of the better IPs of this generation. One I hope EA brings to the Next-Gen.

Despite that Id have no problem telling anyone to pick this book up as it is a quality product and yet again shows the detail that goes into creating a game world.

Deadfall is a solid enough film but only due to a good cast giving very good performances with an under-developed script is it put into this category. This film while decent could have been so much better but its only worth a watch and not must see which is a shame as the actors deserve better for the hard work they put in. Not to mention the crew as this film is very well made. Its just the story that isnt as well constructed.

This book is both gorgeous and even if you're not that keen on the film it does give some great insight into building a plausible sci fi world.

The world of Fathom was always a good concept to me and Im glad that Aspen comics are continuing the stories of this series.

Final Destination 5 keeps the amusingly nasty deaths fresh but the template which the film follows well is getting a bit stinky with decay. I enjoyed it but it may be time to let the series reach that destination and be final.

7/10 (If youve a family, otherwise 6/10)

Like Crazy is a decent indie film that doesnt really stand out from the pack (isnt that the opposite of indie?) It also has characters that may drive you crazy.

8/10 (wouldve been nearer 7 until I played other players genius tracks)

Im more than happy to say that on the fourth attempt, theres a Mission: Impossible movie that I really like and want to see again. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol finally lights the fuse and isnt a dud.

R13 may have been a long time in the making but its such a solidly made product that I think it can last and go on to great things as it is off to a very impressive start.

Red Wing is a rollicking good sci-fi action story that has rock solid artwork and a cool hook to keep you interested in whats going to happen next. Theres some good world building here but I get the feeling that the story of Red Wing will be told in this story and that is a good thing as good stories should always have an endgame and in comics that is rare. As a science fiction fan I have no problem recommending this to anyone who likes their comics clever and thought provoking. As a comics fan Im delighted that comics like this a being produced. Buy it and fight the future.

If you like your fantasy laced with humour and splattered with bloody action then you really can't miss out on this energetic romp of a book. I'm looking forward to reading the next issue of Skullkickers and am curious to see if they can keep up with the feisty characters they've unleashed unto the world.

The writing is to the point and humorous and the art is always bright, colourful and clean. Well worth putting on a standing order as I think Skullkickers is only getting started and theres plenty of killing and looting to be done yet.

I think this series will be pleasing to both fantasy and non-fantasy comic readers in that the comic seems to be very content in having pretty much every fantasy-type creature graphically killed by the two main characters. Its in this that Skullkickers is looking to be a worthwhile series to read for a good while yet.

Some of the monsters are really quite cool and the action quite literally breakneck. Seeing as the first two issues are more than likely at collector prices Id recommend picking up the inevitable trade as the plot is starting to ramp up quite nicely and the read will be that much more enjoyable. If you were one of the lucky people to have bought the series from the beginning then you have to read this issue and hopefully youll agree that at this rate Skullkickers will get even more popular and for a nice change deservedly so.

No-one has an excuse not to get into these series. Even in these nastily cash-strapped times.

This issue is a perfectly fine breather and a nice chance to see the characters being worked on by different creative teams. It goes to show that in the right hands the Skullkickers could go on for a long time.

If you haven't started reading Skullkickers, start. You need to have some fun in your reading pile and this comic has it in spades. It also has an abundance of dead bodies but this comic certainly doesn't stink. It's the sweet smell of victory or at least that new-comic smell.

Last issue had a cool old-school bonus and this one continues the trend (again harking back to the annuals of yesteryear) Each issue of Skullkickers is a dose of good humoured fun and I feel fortunate to read its irreverent, insane and inspired pages. Skullkickers has been on the go for almost a year and shows no signs of fatigue and if anything is maintaining momentum with relative ease. The quality has always been high from all involved and its with no small sense of begrudging (Im Irish, its a cultural thing) admiration that Im amazed to see in these jaded times. The Skullkickers crew may have my respect (totally worthless) but they do have my continued readership and thats priceless (to me it is anyway)

The short version is that Skullkickers 12 is a great issue to jump onto or if you're a fan get a friend as a gift to show them why you're a fan.

I loved Skullkickers 13 but issue 14 starts strong and stays strong. Kind of like the series as a whole. The whole team mix things up but not in a trite way but an organic fashion. It's so good it's sickening. No comic should be this energetically creative after almost 3 years. Skullkickers just should be this much fun after being around so long. But it is and that's just magical.

Skullkickers #17 is now quite the essential read.

Rating 9/10 for being a source of mayhem and amusement for 2 years. Thank guys and gals.

This game should bring nostalgia to the older gamers and introduce this fun series to the new gamers out there.

Soul Sacrifice is easily one of the top-tier games for this platform and hopefully more games of this quality will make it to the Vita and push it from quality device to must have

Its not a gorefest but Ill take inventive over bland bloodiness anytime.

Well worth your time and money.

The Lion King 3D shows that the film deserved all the success back in the 90s and deserves just as much reward now. A truly wonderful film that has just as much bite now as it did back then. A perfect family film that is perfectly restored.

Knowing full well that there's been a lengthy gap between issues there's a clever and to bring you back up to speed. Even better is a fun and evil storytelling device to keep you aware of how things are going for one of the main characters.

Skullkickers isnt really Uncanny and if I were to riff on the myriad of X-titles out there, Id say that Astonishing Skullkickers is more apt title.
