I am not going to say that the comic is flawless, but I will state that I was drawn in by characters that I don't have much investment in. By giving us (sad) stories of just how out of place each mutant feels without the X-Men, we understand just how important the group was. So, while we don't see any more reason for Cyclops' deformation of the X-Men, we are given proper fallout to Messiah Complex, which is something that was sorely needed.
