Well, the whole thing is bad really. Metallo as a character is a misogynistic caricature of a juiced up U.S. Marine, who is being everything he should't be. This is honestly one character they can retire, DC and Superman don't need a bad War Machine knock-off that is a border-line bigot. I want to again point out that I don't fault Sholly for the bad in this book, he did what he could with bad character.

Lex Luthor was was a very enjoyable read. Plants some seeds in the beginning of the issue that get nice pay-offs by the end.

Worth a read if you have been keeping up with the NEW 52 Superman / Zod relationship or if you are really interested in Zod, however Man of Steel told a similar story that you could just apply here.

Overall it was an overall enjoyable issue, with great art and story progression.

This issue must have a few tubes missing because Bane was feeling weak!

Not one to write home about, or go out of your way to obtain. However, if you are missing your Penguin fix this will fill you up.

The beginning of the book sets up five different riddles which have answers revealed as The Riddler's plans are revealed through the book. Awesome story telling that left me wanting a monthly Riddler book.

Before I even touch on the story, I have to mention how amazing the art is. No page has wasted space, there are several full page spreads of delicious action AND halfway through the book the Art gets stylized, the colors change and it's absolutely amazing it's one team doing a swap like that.

Very fun read, details a dark history of the owls. If you have been following them in the pages of Batman, it is for sure worth your time. If you haven't, I still say it is worth a read as I felt compelled to seek out the issues they are in and follow Talon due to it's dark, gritty and suspenseful nature.

If you aren't up to speed on Ra's Al Ghul is or want to know what he has been up to post Forever Evil, this is an issue you don't want to miss. Don't care about that? Then just check him out in the Red Hood issues this fall

Wanted more details about The Joker's Daughter and less simplistic art and statements about men vs women.

If I am reading a title about a Villain, even if they suck, I want them to be put in some sort of positive or badass crazy light. Clayface gets shit on the whole issue.

The dialog in this issue for Mr. Freeze can't be more spot on. Just try reading this issue with a monotone, emotionless voice and it automatically becomes a much more enjoyable read. The coloring also just FEELS cold as you are reading the book. Very Cool. (Yes, Pun intended!)

'Deadpool' #21 starts a great story that continues the most cohesive plot progression in Deadpool's history. While the art is a bit rushed and bland, it doesn't hurt the story enough to tarnish the issue's strong storytelling.

This was an enjoyable quick read, that really leaves you questioning your own mortality and the decisions you would make if this happened to you.

A fun read, however could have included more information on the Man-Bat.

Not really worth a read as it is really just recapping what everyone else is up to around Gotham City. If you want a real quick recap on all of Batman's villains, then this is your issue, but you were hoping for some trippy Scarecrow story move along.

If you want to know more about Harley or just want to look at a hot chick for 30 pages it's worth checking out, otherwise it didn't add anything to her back story.

If you like pretty pictures and visual storytelling this is a good issue, otherwise only the true Grundy fans need to pick this up.

You want a good villains titles that covers backstory, current story and future story, this issue encompasses it all very concisely.

If you are following Barry West, then yes this issue is essential, if you just want a good Villains story for the month, this isn't your bag, however the art is worth paging through in the comic store.

Very enjoyable read, great presentation and art pieces, but wanted more about Forever Evil.

Very enjoyable read, especially if you know the basics of the lantern universe. Black Hand is a cool villain, though doesn't really tie into Forever Evil too much.

Nice little interlude about Owlman and The Outsider from Earth 3, but left me wanting to know more about the Society on Earth Prime and what really happened on Earth 3.

Wow! This issue was a fantastic ride. Not knowing much about Lobo I wasn't sure what to expect from this Vamp (Metal Gear Solid) look-alike. Great part about it, you don't really need to know abou him to appreciate this issue. The way he talks, the art in the book, the content".loved it.

My DC pick of the week for the art alone and the interesting story, just wish it involved Forever Evil more.

A fun read with some stand out panels of art, but is missing full page art pieces and the history of Black Adam and Shazaam's relationship.

An entertaining read about a lesser known Villain. Worth picking up if you are interested in the character or just like comics with a good female lead.

New Avengers 9 was an amazing piece of literary build-up and release from previous issues, additionally it sets up Infinity #2 with gusto!

She-Hulk #1 is a greatstartingpoint for people not familiar with the She-Hulk. However,I am impressively confused as to why she never reverts back to Jennifer mode, especially at work!! The art in the issue is a huge problem for me and fails to capture the essence of "well"anything really. I look forward to seeing which cases this lawyer accepts in the coming issues, but this was a very lukewarm introduction.

We are large fans of the Superior story that Dan Slott has put together. It has been a non-stop thrill ride taking us places Peter Parker would never tread.

A quick read, that is fun, but leaves you really not caring about the Parasite in the long run. A great NON-kyptoian Villain for the big guy though!

Fun read if you are interested in where he came from, however the ending causes some questions about how Superman is still around in the New 52, which lowered the rating.

Much better villain for Superman than Zod, in my opinion. If you are going to learn about one Superman villain this week, pick up this issue. If you want to continue the fun in Forever Evil, it's not for you!

A great villain story that got me interested in going back and following The Swamp Thing /Animal Man.

Unless you really like Deathstroke, this no good. Brought nothing to the Forever Evil event or the character of Deathstroke. If they wanted to rip off Deadpool, they should have also used his origin story with a little alteration and went with that. They failed to embrace what Deathstroke is by trying to bring in emotional connections to his children, poor choice.

Unless you are a big Teen Titans fan, have an affinity for demons or just want an arousing read don't bother with this issue. A fun read but other Villains deserve more attention this week.

If you need a break from Marvel's nonsense continuity with the X-Men and the Avengers, this is an especially fun read that might just touch home with you on an emotional level. This new mutant is a fun character and I hope that he DOES become a big part of the X-Men's future. Not all powers need to be loud and powerful. This subtle power is so much more interesting.

If you haven't been reading this series this new arc seems to be a great place to jump on for a short arc with a lot of heart. Wolverine really is the best at what he does in this issue!

An interesting aside that could have been used as a filler story once this First Born arc gets going in Wonder Woman.

Looking for a visceral villain, with an interesting backstory and some sexiness to boot? Than is your issue this week!

Like I have said, I REALLY want to like this event, as it's wrapping up the story with the Original X-Men. However, this issue is a filler in whatever Bendis is trying to do with the story. The last page is really all you need to see unless you enjoy soap opera like dialogue and character interactions. 2/5 Nuggets.
