Overall, Coyotes is off to a good start. The writing can feel a little forced, but the story has a great energy to it and the wonderful artwork more than its end of the bargain.

Overall it's not a badly written or drawn book but it's not a particularly great one either. There's no real substance or charm which is a shame as I feel like with a few tweaks it could have easily ticked more boxes for me.
