Even at the price of $4.99, this issue scores an 8 for sheer audacity alone but it's a 9 if Jack Kirby's Fourth World is your kind of thing.

"Angel" #5 gets so much of what made the characters of the show tick and puts it in a new fresh context that you can forgive any awkwardness of some of the narration.
