This issue brings in some long-awaited fan favorite characters and character incarnations and elevates those characters with some fantastic character development and a twist ending that will shock any fan of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

All in all, Lab Raider #1 is an engaging read that presents a complex narrative with engaging characters, that ends on a literal "WTF" moment that sets that hook even deeper, and has this reviewer chomping at the bit to come back for issue #2.

The comic book medium gives writers and artists a big are in which to play with the history of the Power Rangers and this book is using it to it's full advantage even if its a bit underdeveloped.

A minor recton serves to undercut a previously great moment and drowns out what could be other great moments in this issue.
