Tough girls in space. Necromancy. True-to-life characters. Real laugh-out-loud moments. Kim and Kim have it all and pull it together in this highly enjoyable issue.

Great art in a non-traditional comic style brings these Superhero Girls to life, but I wish I got to know them better on the page. This book alone is not the best intro into the DC Superhero Girls franchise, but may be part of something greater.

With lovely art, a quick pace, and a cliffhanger ending, this issue has really pulled me into this depiction of Equestria. Fans of the franchise will certainly enjoy spending time with their favorites on the pages of this issue, and be looking forward to the next.

I appreciated the artwork and coloring, but wasnt wowed by all of the characters. But the net is that I want to keep reading, which is certainly the point of any introduction to a series, so its definitely a success. I look forward to the next issue.
