A strong start to what promises to be a good run

Flesh Tones #1 is a mixture of delight and disappointment for me. The first story fails to ignite, the second burns my eyes in a good way.

Definitely one to watch - Luke cooper stands out as both artist and writer.

All in all, I appreciated the construction and dialogue of this comic. While the story doesn't stand out as especially original yet it is told well and nicely drawn.

All in all this is a one shot worth owning, I love the main character and would be keen to see him put up against investigating other potentially supernatural crimes, though this story feels fully resolved.

Over all a good read, Check them out if you tend to like Dune, Starwars, Titan AE, Firefly. I love a good space Merc adventure and these guys nail it.

Quite funny with hints at depth and nods to the greats, Starlex should please those that enjoy super hero comics.

All in all one for lovers of simple classic fantasy.

Not hugely original but nicely done, The Meek #1 should not disappoint zombie genre fans and lays the ground for a story with much greater potential.
