Most of issue #2 is exposition on what the "thin places" are, but it is very much worth it to keep the story going. The concept of "thin places" is intriguing, and theories surrounding it can be found all around the internet.

While the plot isn't the most enamoring, the art carries to book the whole way. This conglomerate of Marvel characters aren't just X-Men, there are Avengers and Brotherhood in the fray as well! We see a well and true army lead by Scott Summers against Ilyana, but she has an ace up her sleeve like no other.
