Thats a cheap trick, but a common one. And overall, Injection #1 makes me want to read #2. Recommended. Warren Ellis is the writer. Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire are the artists.

Another complaint is that the art, while bold, is so stylized that it is sometimes hard to follow. But nothing is perfect, and this dish is recommended. Brian Wood is the writer, Danijel Zezelj is the artist, and Dave Stewart is the colorist. Image is the publisher.

Valhalla Mad #1 |

The characterizations are one dimensional, there is almost no conflict, the travelers have no motivations beyond emptying tankards and helping out the occasional distressed commercial aircraft, the plot doesn't exist. And the dialogue is gratingly awful.
