Young expertly grasps Rocket at this point and it shows how seamless the stories are, even this early into his run. Hecontinues to capture the Rocket-Groot partnership perfectly and this story had a definite Han and Chewie vibe (which I loved) in terms of how Rocket and Groot were portrayed. It was a simple story, but it also had a clear direction and I look forward to see how the rest of this arc plays out. As I stated earlier, it's great to find a book that is just plain fun to read, and Rocket Raccoon continues to be that book for me.

I went in to this book with a bit of cautious skepticism, but was pleasantly surprised by this new beginningand I expect good things in the future.
