The artwork by Michael Oeming is a stark black and white with the occasional grey wash that creates an environment which suits the mood of the story with its detail to the mystic symbols and rituals that gives it an almost dream like quality. A great book visually and story wise.

This is an amazing retelling of the timeless poem for our time. A definite must have for your bookshelf.

The authors, Kurt Sutter and co-writer Caitlin Kittridge, writer of the Iron Codex series,weave a great piece of dark fantasy and redemption. The artwork by Jesus Hervas, who has done everything from the Sons of Anarchy comic book to Hellraiser comic, is crisp and clean and is inspired by the dichotomy of good vs. evil. This is a series to watch!

All in all the Predator Life and Death #1 is worth a read and sets nice groundwork for the issues to follow.

The first issue is a great start to this tale of psychological horror and intrigue.

Cullen and Luckert continue to deliver and make this book not to be missed read. Find Regression #1 if you still can, and make sure to continue with this outstanding sophomore issue.

Although not his typical genre, it is one he took to like a bat in The Belfry. This book is definitely a page-turner and a great addition to any horror fans collection.

The artwork by Michael Zulli is classic Sandman, which he also drew with Gaimans story telling. The collaboration is seamless between ink and words. This is a great story for people who are not familiar with Neil Gaimans work, (and if youre not, shame on you!), as it is a classic example of how he keeps the reader guessing and gives life to the pages he writes.

Written by Peter Milligan, who is no stranger to supernatural storytelling, having written Shade the Changing Man, delivers a story that is reminiscent of horror classics of yesterday with a modern twist. The artwork by Ronilson Freire is so detailed and beautifully laid out that it really pulls you into the story and doesn't let go. I cant wait to see more of his work on this book! This is definitely one to pick upespecially for horror fans.

Give Throwaways a read, you wont be disappointed with either the art or the story.

This is the start of an amazing horror tale with enough tension and suspense to bring the reader back for more. I for one cannot wait to see where Mr. Fawkes takes us after the conclusion of this issue.
