Regardless, I'm eagerly awaiting the continuation. If you like twisted Bat tales with added brutality, this is definitely for you.

Wait for the trade. Hopefully the story will present itself in a more pleasing and well-paced manner taken as a whole.

At the end of the day, it's a spectacularly colourful headscratcher, and the sort of thing my daughter would delight in explaining to me.

Russell isn't a writer I'm familiar with but I am pleasantly surprised by the layered story he has presented here. The modern sociopolitical commentary expertly wrapped in Mega-City One's dystopia is both thought-provoking and entertaining. Highly recommend.

With an iconic quote, the stage is set for a classic Robocop vs OCP confrontation next time out. I really hope that issue #3 can get the juices flowing, because this series desperately needs drama, tension, and maybe even a little action?

Or maybe we'll just get a straightforward redemption/return of Robocop affair with the cyborg lawman tackling the greedy corporation as well as his own man vs machine moralistic and ethical quibbles. It's too soon to call. Not an instant recommend but certainly one to keep your eye on. Heres looking forward to issue #2!
