Overall, this book is a hoot from start to finish. The pace and story really keep you interested and the artwork will deserve repeat readings. This is an essential volume of modern horror story telling and should be on every comic book fan's shelf. Once Santa has recounted his stories to the teens, he is keen to find out if they have made a difference. I guess you may want to know if they did, right? Well, you are going to have to buy the book to find out Im afraid. The one thing I can tell you is that you will not regret it when you do. For those who like their Christmas with an edge and anyone that enjoys a good old-fashioned horror yarn, this book cannot come recommended highly enough. I can think of no better way of re imagining this classic than the medium of comics.The story begins in Wales in 1887. A stranger has arrived in the town of Llyddndd and is acting very strangely and not making any new friends with the locals in the process. The man seems to be pre-occupied with his timepiece as he makes his way through town, counting the seconds all the way and ignoring everyone in his path. Although the book is only ninety story pages, there has been so much story squeezed in that its a pretty weighty read. The great people from Zenescope have also added almost forty pages of extra content with the single issue covers and previews of other titles.
