Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh once played guitar in solitude, but ever since Nijika roped her into joining Kessoku Band, she’s started to emerge from her shell...kinda. She may still be a nervous wreck, but with a show or two under her belt, a part-time job, and even some real-life friends, those rocker fantasies don’t seem so unrealistic anymore! However, the band’s about to face its biggest challenge yet-performing onstage at the school festival! Can Bocchi hold it together and become a rock legend, or will she embarrass herself in front of the entire student body? (Why not both?!)
Overall, Volume 2 of Bocchi the Rock! proves an improvement on the first instalment as it focuses on one major arc for the majority of its pages. And now that we find ourselves at the end of what the anime adapted, theres plenty to look forward to in #3 where were into whole new content. One to pick up if you enjoyed Volume 1! Read Full Review
