This issue felt like not just a direct follow up of the previous issue of Ultimate Wolverine but also the most recent issue of The Ultimates. It helps create the sense there is something bigger going on and Wolverine's actions are playing a key role in everything. Ultimate Wolverine feels like its starting to recapture the same interest those early issues had with its last two outings, though there is still some work that needs to be done as we reach the end. Ultimate Wolverine has been one of the better-selling Ultimate books, easily outpacing the 616 series in sales. it's kind of strange on how Ultimate Wolverine has been my favorite series to come out the bunch. It's not mind blowing, but it is entertaining and the one I remember the most.
The conclusion to a 12 issue arc that feels anticlimactic but on par for the course. The series itself may require another reading, it just kind of felt lacking..
is it worth picking up the next four issues?
