    With this issue done, Black Panther as we know it is ending. I don't know whether the series will return after Doomwar, but even if it does I imagine the changes will be significant. This issue has gotten me reasonably interested in Doomwar, so in that sense at least it was successful. Still, seeing how many problems remain in the overall execution, I plan on keeping my expectations in check over these next few months. Read Full Review

    "Black Panther" #12 doesn't pretend to be anything other than it is: an overblown, stuffed-to-the-gills action comic. The political stuff going on in Wakanda is all background, it's all texture, for what is just a bunch of guys and gals pounding on each other with visually spectacular powers. I respect that.
