Roots of Madness is another Ignition Press wonder, a tale of unusual familial connections and the ties that bind us to previous generations. The artwork is gorgeous and the well-plotted storyline blooms like the radiant flower at the heart of the book’s mystery. What do we take with us from our parents? How do we find our own way forward? And what might lie behind the walls we’ve built up around our parent’s mythologies? This is a fascinating and expertly wrought tale — and one that I am eager to follow for as long as it is willing to be followed.
