There isn't much chance of this particular hero, really getting into deep and murky territory with respect to the overall theme of being a masked superhero in a world with super villains. However, it's nice to see the darkness tastefully drawn around a hero like this without making it irretrievably sinister. There's room for darkness that isn't also meant to shock.
